Thank you for your interest in becoming a member of CREW Austin, Inc., the organization for commercial real estate professionals. We hold monthly networking meetings at local venues with industry related topics and we encourage you to join us at a future event to see what we are about. And yes men can get involved and are encouraged to join our organization!

The yearly membership dues cover both the local chapter and CREW Network National dues which include numerous benefits at both levels.

Membership Requirements

THREE LEVELS OF MEMBERSHIP AS FOLLOWS:
ACTIVE MEMBERSHIP
ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP
AFFILIATE MEMBERSHIP

ACTIVE MEMBERSHIP
Professional Qualifications:

* Have 'direct involvement' in the commercial real estate industry during at least six (6) of the last ten (10) years, and

* Have 'direct involvement' in a Discipline during at least six (6) of the last ten (10) years and have direct involvement in a Discipline during the two (2) years immediately preceding the application date, and

* Either (1) is a principal, manager or senior officer of the applicant's company with significant decision-making authority, (2) holds a license or certification in the applicant's Discipline issued by a state or national regulatory agency, or (3) holds a bachelor's or higher degree in the applicant's Discipline from an accredited college or university.

* Note: 'Direct involvement' means that the applicant is actively engaged exclusively or primarily in the Discipline above (i.e., all or most of the applicant's gainful employment or major source of income is generated from involvement in such a Discipline).

ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP
Professional Qualifications:

* An applicant must meet the same criteria for participation in a Discipline as an applicant for Active Membership must meet, except that the period during which an applicant for Associate Membership status must establish participation by direct involvement in his or her Discipline is less than 6 years.

AFFILIATE MEMBERSHIP
Professional Qualifications:

* Affiliate Membership must demonstrate direct involvement in a Discipline during the two (2) years immediately preceding the application date, and (ii) currently is engaged within the applicant's Discipline.

PDF Membership Application

After your application has been reviewed and accepted by the Board of Directors, you will be notified (could take up to 30 days). At that time, if your membership application has been accepted, you will be requested to submit payment of the Annual Dues within ten (10) days. The Association year is January - December. Dues are non-transferrable and non-refundable.

* Please note that dues paid after 10/1/2009 will be charged the full amount below but will cover the remainder of this year and next year with an expiration of 12/31/2010.
