Welcome, and thank you for your interest in CREW Austin, Inc. CREW Austin is one of 68 CREW Network chapters with over 8,000 members in the United States and Canada. Dedicated to furthering the professional and personal success of its members, CREW Austin is comprised of distinguished professionals from all sectors of the real estate community. CREW Austin's focus on serving the needs of its members is key to the organization and, as a result, members grow individually and professionally and become positive forces in their individual companies and the community. Despite the current uncertainties in the real estate and financial markets, we envision 2010 as a year of growth and opportunity during which we build on prior successes and start new ventures. In 2010, we will continue our luncheon and other programs which feature key speakers who discuss topics relevant to our members' lives and professions. Such programs insure that members receive up-to-date information on the latest economic trends, developments and opportunities in the commercial real estate industry. We also offer programs focused on the development of professional skills and, through committee and board positions, provide members mentoring and leadership opportunities. Ever important to CREW Austin is its mission of supporting programs which provide educational opportunities and promote economic self-sufficiency for young women and girls. In 2010, we are expanding our successful CREW Careers program at The Ann Richards School for Girls, kicking off our new UCREW curriculum/scholarship program at The University of Texas, and planning for our 2011 Women Run The City race. Members find year-after-year that participation in events like these is not only a great investment in future generations, but is incredibly rewarding. We think you will, too.
