CREW Careers: is designed to introduce teenagers to the career opportunities available in the commercial real estate industry. CREW CareersTM is a program developed by CREW Foundation, the philanthropic arm of CREW Network. The program's long-term goal is to affect change in the commercial real estate industry, which has historically favored men. Membership Committee This committee serves as a resource for ideas on retaining members and recruiting new members. It is also charged with reviewing membership applications and making recommendations to the board for new membership. This committee is also responsible for membership retention activities including but not limited to periodic surveys, coordination of renewal process with Administrator, and membership changes such as moves, name changes, address changes, etc. Public Relations Committee This committee is responsible for providing editorial guidance and content for the association's monthly newsletter. Committee members assist with the development of the editorial calendar, set standards for written articles, review article submissions and make recommendations on how to continue to promote and obtain exposure for CREW Austin and its members. Programs Committee This committee serves as a resource to identify speakers and innovative/leading-edge topics, develop and structure interesting formats for presentations, identify professional skills development training, and recommend delivery vehicles for these programming opportunities. The programs are the primary source of exposure and credibility for the organization, and provide a substantial portion of CREW Austin's annual revenue, therefore, a variety of programs should be established each year that will increase overall attendance and meet the needs of the membership. Special Events Committee During the course of the year this committee will offer a variety of social events to CREW members and guests, i.e., the annual Holiday party, Friend recognition, monthly dines arounds, signature Golf Adventure, etc. The committee should be comprised of highly energetic, passionate and organized individuals. Sponsorship Committee This committee is charged with overseeing all sponsorship coordination and "asks" for CREW Austin. This high-energy exciting committee works with the Board to deliver sponsors and create effective strategies to build the teams that do fundraising. Recognition Committee This committee is responsible for developing programs that uncover examples of excellence in our membership that exemplify the core values of CREW Austin and showcase the value of membership. UCREW: is a university outreach program where chapters use their members as role models to teach students networking fundamentals, career resources and opportunities in development. Women Run the City: Plan & organize race to be held in 2011. | Committee Assignments
